Concerto is an integrated library management system supporting all the activities of a library. The most innovative and state of the art software available today, its system architecture is web-centric, open and flexible. All OPAC and staff terminals operate with a standard web browser so that the Internet and the library system offer the same familiar interface to the user.
Our library management system integrates all modules (Acquisition, Cataloging, Circulation, Serials and OPAC**) making the processing of items efficient and simple. We also offer a module for online mobile library with a UMTS*** connection.
Efficient functionnalities
Data input from external sources (e.g. Holt Jackson, Peters, etc.) is possible and helps in saving valuable time. Standard formats such as MARC21 and MAB2 and other usual standards and interfaces are supported.
Matching your own catalogue with Antolin's for example (a project for supporting children’s reading skills) is a feature which a modern library should offer. Moreover, our system supplies a tool for easy and quick data comparison.
The reporting software CyberQuery is integrated into Concerto, enabling comprehensive queries. Standard reports are available and run in a quick and comfortable way, but CyberQuery offers individual and sophisticated SQL queries as well.
Standards and flexibility
All common IT standards are supported (Windows, Z39.50, etc.). We offer a modern architecture taking on all developments on the software market (HTML, XML).
With Concerto any library size can be handled and more than 1.000 terminals can easily be implemented.
User-friendly
Of course, we offer a completely graphical user interface.
Adding web objects for presenting covers or tables of content is a feature becoming a must-have for a modern library and its users.
Concerto is equipped with integrated self service functionalities, via OPAC or via Internet.
A further highlight of our system is the language choice between English, French, Dutch and German. We are operating on an international market, therefore, all modules are available in these languages.
